Window Replacement – Replacing your old windows can increase energy efficiency, reduce maintenance, increase security, and provide better noise reduction. Double glazed windows are more energy efficient as apposed to a single pane of glass. That’s because the space between the two pieces of glass are filled with argon gas which reduces heat loss through the glass. They are also either made of tempered or laminated safety glass reducing the chance of it shattering and even if one layer receives an impact capable of shattering it the second layer usually wont break which makes it harder for an intruder to break in.
Types of Windows
Commercial Curtain Walls: An outer covering of a building in which the outer walls are non-structural, but merely keep out the weather. As the curtain wall is non-structural it can be made of a lightweight material reducing construction costs. When glass is used as the curtain wall, a great advantage is that natural light can penetrate deeper within the building.

Types of Glass
Interior Tempered Glass: A type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering creates balanced internal stresses which cause the glass, when broken, to crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards.
