Albrite Building is thrilled to share with you a recent Burr Ridge townhome remodeling project we completed last month. Townhome Remodeling This beautiful townhome remodeling project was completed in just 3 weeks. As you enter the townhome, the entire first floor was painted in a creamy beige. The foyer, hallway, laundry room and kitchen were all retiled with light beige 12” x 24” ceramic tiles to complement the walls and white molding. New LED light fixtures were added to the kitchen and foyer. The hallway, dining room, family room and two upstairs bedrooms hardwood floors were refinished with a deeper, darker color. Albrite Building of Westmont completed renovations last month for a commercial building at 1660 Feehanville Drive in Mount Prospect, Illinois. The renovations included updating the lobby with new wallpaper and painting the walls and wood panels. A darker stain was used on the wood panels for more contrast in the lobby. To showcase the bright and open decor, a new glass wall partition was added on the 2nd floor by the elevator overlooking the lobby to maximize natural light in the building. Commercial Construction Increases in 2017

The construction industry has seen an increase from a year ago according to the Associated General Contractors of America. Commercial construction rose 13.6 percent since 2016. And office construction grew 24.8 percent compared to 2016. Power construction including oil and gas, gained a 9.4 percent increase over the last 12 months. Manufacturing construction fell 9.8 percent from last year. Highway construction increased by 1.3 percent for the month of February, but is down 5.1 percent year-over-year.
